Thank you for your interest in The TY Games.

The TY Games is a 3 week programme, centered around self improvement and self belief, where students will complete a series of tasks and challenges, with the aim of learning and developing new skills.

The programme covers 5 connected modules.

Once a payment has been made, the school will receive one login for all teachers in their school. For example, the TY Coordinator could sign up using the school email address and create a password. This one login would then be used by all teachers involved in your school. Students do not get logins to the website, because the programme is designed to be teacher led. The resources may be shown to pupils by presenting the website on your screen or on the board if in class. A booklet is available to download for all students to fill in.

Weekly challenge schedule
A fillable PDF that allows you to organise who is teaching each module
Leaderboard
Video tutorials
A booklet for all students that can be downloaded and/or printed
Video instructions for 4 challenges to be completed by the students in teams
Certificate of completion for all students

The programme is run by the teachers in your school, instructions and resources are provided. The challenges will be judged by the teachers facilitating the relevant module, they will then fill the scores into the leaderboard. This leaderboard can be shared by you with the TY students each week. We will not be involved in the running of the programme in your school, however, we are available if you have any questions throughout the duration of your school facilitating The TY Games for your TYs.

You will have access to the website for 5 weeks. We would advise that all teachers involved use the first week to familiarise themselves with the material before introducing it to the TY students. The TY Coordinator can also use this first week to organise teams and prepare for the coming weeks.
